Under the direction of Kevin Payne and his staff, the Moore Catholic softball program has been revitalized and recognized as one of the top “AA” softball programs in New York. Just completing his 6th year at the helm Moore Catholic softball has won 4 consecutive Staten island championships. 3 consecutive Archdiocesan championships and won the New York State Catholic High School “AA” championships in 2017 and 2018. Moore Catholic were state semifinalists in 2019. Mavericks softball offers a very competitive roster consisting of an equally competitive schedule. We pride ourselves on hard work and we constantly rank among the top GPA’s of all the athletic teams here at Moore. Our player individual accolades are endless with Smith Cup winners and several all state selection players for their impressive performances. Most importantly every player that has come through the Moore Catholic softball program has gone on to college with 10 girls in the past 2 seasons alone going on to play
